Mission Statement

Beer & Brewer  magazine celebrates all things beer in Australia & New Zealand.

We strive to keep the general public and trade in Australia & New Zealand informed on breweries and home brewing, delivering authoritative and fun content on beer news, travel, food, home brewing and reviews of domestic and imported beer, cider and whisk(e)y available in Australia & New Zealand. We also strive to partner with Industry in promoting new beers and related products to their target market, in addition being the industry voice for beer events, news and trends.

Editorial Overview

Beer & Brewer magazine is a consumer lifestyle magazine delivering authoritative and fun content via a quarterly magazine now with an annual issue, web site and monthly e-newsletter. As the only magazine that 100% celebrates all things beer in Australasia, we partners with the brewing and homebrewing industry’s to be their voice to grow the general public’s awareness of micro/craft and imported beers, events, venues and news and the different steps, methods and ingredients of homebrewing. The magazine has a flip cover entitled Homebrewer to collate all home brew content into the one area and provide a specific cover to help promote this content at retail.

Editorial Flow

Beer & Brewer is a glossy coffee table style magazine and content and flow reflects more of the food and wine magazine Gourmet Traveller WINE size, layout and flow rather than the men’s interest magazine of FHM. Images are a combination of original photography taken for our Gourmet section along with stock images throughout the magazine for colour and visual appeal. Content is credible, fun and authoritative and 100% original thanks to our Editor-in-Chief Wayne Dart, Editor Tim Baker, Features Editor Mark Chipperfield, Editor at Large (NZ) Neil Miller and valued Contributors from Australia, NZ and around the World.
